We are looking for a creative and experienced Manager, Board & System Product Engineering to join our team! NVIDIA's Operations Engineering team plays a key role in developing new state of the art autonomous driving (Drive AGX), embedded (Jetson) and consumer(Shield TV) products.

What you'll be doing:

  • As part of an Operations Engineering team you'll play a key role in developing new state of the art autonomous driving (Drive AGX), embedded (Jetson) and consumer(Shield TV) products.

  • You'll craft, architect, design, and implement efficient manufacturing processes.

  • Represent Ops Engineering during architecture, design product life cycle and provide manufacturing capability feedback to design teams.

  • Continuously mentor and develop engineers in your team.

  • Define product test requirements and drive NPI bring up, validation, and characterization for smooth production ramp at worldwide manufacturing sites as you continuously find opportunities for potential process improvements and collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement.

What we need to see:

  • Master's in electrical engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience

  • 5+ years of leading teams (6+ members) as a manager

  • You have a proven track record of leading board/system-level products through different phases of life cycle - all the way from design to high-volume manufacturing.

  • DFx knowledge in electrical, thermal and mechanical components of system

  • Knowledge of hardware and software interaction (e.g. familiar with embedded low level firmware and/or embedded operating systems and H/W)

  • Deep understanding of System on Chip (SoC) IO interfaces (e.g. USB, SPI, UART, Ethernet, display ports, etc) and memory subsystem design

  • Hands-on experience in design analysis, prototype bring-up and debugging, failure verification and manufacturing test support

  • Hands-on experience with Perl/Python/Shell scripting

  • Have you experienced working in a multi-functional engineering environment?

  • Do you have experience in Manufacturing Test and validation planning and reporting?

  • Are you an authority in Design of experiments creation, execution and data analysis?

  • Good communication skills with diverse teams and functional groups

  • Multi-tasking capabilities

  • Familiarity with automotive, industrial and military electronic requirements will be a plus

The Linear Products and Solutions group (LPS) develops ADI's amplifier franchise, including opamps, differential amplifiers, ADC drivers and current sense amplifiers. In addition to amplifiers, the LPS team focuses on delivering solutions such as sensor interfaces, signal chain micromodules, current sensing, lidar receive chains, OTDR and Battery Formation. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Applications Manager to lead the Linear Products and Solutions Applications team. Reporting to the LPS Product Line Director, the role will require a strong mix of both leadership and technical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging key internal developments to deliver systems which highlight the strength of the solutions and the benefits for specific end markets. This will require strong communications with the appropriate stakeholders within the business and product development teams within LPS and other relevant Product Technology Groups, in addition to building excellent working relationships with the key contacts in aligned business units across the organization. It will also require significant engagement with both end customers and development /technology partners across the target markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of analog signal chains and applications. Responsibilities: Lead the System Applications team, providing mentorship and technical guidance to other team members. Translate customer and partner requirements into activity plans and drive team activities to ensure on time delivery Lead technical activities for the team, identifying, planning and executing on key platform development and performance testing. Develop and support relationships with key external and internal system partners including Sensor Vendors, and Module Makers. Identify and develop key systems/platforms with these partners to allow collaborative engagement with customers Understand and define customer needs, and translate them into technical requirements that form the basis of our new product definition process Develop and support a "whole product", which comprises of components, hardware, software from both Analog Devices and 3rd Party Partners Collaborate with the broader development team on executing our programs including IC design, design evaluation, test engineering and marketing. Requirements: Engineering degree or equivalent with at least 10 years' experience in an Applications/Systems Engineering role Experience in Analog electronics. Strong leadership and communication skills.
