Statement of Purpose: The Manager, Benefits is responsible for overseeing day-to-day benefits administration, compliance of our benefits programs, vendor relationships, and Open Enrollment, while ensuring excellent customer service as well as accurate and efficient execution; researches and recommends new benefit and wellness programs and improvements to existing benefits; ensures file feeds are accurate, initiates process improvement in benefits administration and acts as the subject matter expert (SME) on all technical projects related to benefits; ##provides consultative services to the Human Resources team, management, and employees regarding employee benefit plans/policies, legal requirements, and complex benefit issues.

Qualifications: Education:##Bachelor#s degree in a business-related field required. Certification / License:#CEBS preferred. Experience: 5+ years# experience in administering and managing health, dental, vision, life, disability, time off, and 403(b) or 401(k) plans.# Supervisory experience is preferred.

Knowledge of benefits, leave, and retirement regulations including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, ACA, FMLA/PFML, and 401(k) or 403 (b) is required. Familiarity with the benefit market and trends, and interest in exploring new ideas in benefits and perks. Experience managing relationships with external partners and benefits vendors.

Ability to work independently as well to collaborate with Finance, other HR staff, and external vendors and consultants. Expertise in utilizing advanced Microsoft Office and database applications.# Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, and filters). Strong analytical, problem-solving, process improvement, and HR system skills are required. Exceptional customer service skills are required, as well a strong sense of urgency toward problem resolution.

Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Must be well organized and detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask. Must have excellent time management and project management skills.
