Under administrative direction, provides training, support, and monitoring of the registration activities of departments providing Patient Access functions that do not report directly to Patient Access. Maintains relationship with UMMS contracting resources to ensure accurate information is received and transmitted.# Serves as an information systems resource to the Patient Access Department and other organizational customers.
Analyzes data and prepares reports in response to requests for information. Ensures data integrity and security in all facets of work and exposure of the data. Serves as department representative on organizational committees.
Ensures standardized training and education is provided consistently for department and non-department team members to promote competencies consistent with UM UCH vision and service excellence. Ensures regulatory compliance for Patient Access functions. This position also provides project support for systems and processes changes for Patient Access.
