  • Education, Technology & Operations within ALG Vacations. In this role, you will support and drive the strategy, project management, and execution of core B2B initiatives for travel advisor education, VAX booking engine technology and desired enhancements, and the liaison for Contact Center and Operations Team initiatives. You will report to the Director of B2B Education, Technology & Operations and work across the overarching B2B team to collaborate and understand the needs of travel advisors and their customers. You will be responsible for effective, efficient, and prioritized development and roll-out of core strategies and initiatives pertaining to travel advisor education, technology and operations.

A successful Manager, B2B Strategy

  • Education, Technology & Operations will:
  • Support and drive the strategy, project management, and execution of B2B initiatives across Technology, Operations and Education.

  • Develop and manage travel advisor workshops including Ascend, ALGVPro Live, Mega Fams and Elite trips.

  • Assist in content development of presentations regarding technology/call center/operations/education at travel advisor events.

  • Determine process and technology changes that will benefit both the travel advisor and ALGV and works with key stakeholders to provide guidance on the business need, ROI, development and execution.

  • Collaborate with Trisept and other key stakeholders on prioritization of B2B tech projects.

  • Assist in developing the VAX travel advisor dashboard to view open tickets, sales metrics, and other key elements.

  • Develop and executes contact center deflection strategies through data, reach-outs, and training.

  • Connect the dots between sales/trade strategy/marketing/revenue management and other key departments and strategizes with the training team to ensure training topics are useful for the audience and ALGV to achieve business goals.

A successful Manager, B2B Strategy

  • Education, Technology & Operations will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

  • 5+ years of travel industry work experience with strong project management background and history of success developing, planning, organizing, executing, and measuring new initiatives.

  • Strong skills in MS Office

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn PowerBI reporting tool.

  • Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working with external partners.

  • Travel industry knowledge and experience highly desired.

  • Strong analytical mindset to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent judgement and decision-making ability in crafting solutions while considering costs and benefits of potential actions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present to leadership.

  • Ability to successfully work across departments, functions, and skill levels; must be well-organized and able to multi-task.

  • Ability to travel by air/car both domestically and internationally.
