Under administrative direction, performs work of considerable and essential difficulty in administrative management, oversight and development of campus partnerships and collaborations with ASU faculty and students. Cultivates community engagement opportunities with new and established local, regional and national CSRD partners in order to advance the mission and impact of the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy [CSRD].
In consultation with the Director, supervises ASU student engagement opportunities with the CSRD, including the recruitment and mentoring of CSRD undergraduate fellowship and scholarship r:ecipients. Contributes to the development and growth of collaborative programing and community-based opportunities with education partners at university, community college and high school levels across Arizona. Develops and completes projects in accordance with priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications of the Center.

Working Environment
Activities are performed in environmentally controlled office settings subject to extending periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND five (5) years of related administrative experience, which includes three (3) years of supervisory experience; OR, Nine (9) years of related administrative experience, which includes three (3) years of supervisory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Department Statement
This position is housed in the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy that is located in the Office of the University Provost. The Center has two campus locations: Tempe and Downtown. The position reports to the Director of the Ceriter. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position and will require travel to other ASU campuses and off-campus locations.

Salary Range
$65,000-$72,000 per year; DOE
