Job Summary:

Support the Branch Manger in the daily operation of the Branch Office.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide Customer Service

  • Solicit for new or renewed customer business

  • Receive payments and post to customer accounts

  • Maintain cash drawer accuracy and security

  • Prepare and handle office deposits

  • Prepare and process applications

  • Perform collection activities on delinquent accounts by both written and telephone communications, and also through customer home visits.

  • Assist with the development and training of all new personnel

  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping system

  • Prepare and assemble reports for remittance, and for branch records

Job Requirements:

Prior experience with customer service. Knowledge of State and Federal lending regulations. Valid State drivers license and acceptable drivers record. Access to reliable transportation for use in employment. Computer literate and able to operate a ten-key calculator.

Educational Requirements:

Job Details Location: St. Joseph, MI Department: Administration SJ Status: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Job Summary Partner with other members of the health care team to identify, implement and evaluate safe practices with the goal of ensuring a safe environment for patients, associates and visitors. Manage the safety opportunity process and oversee the grievances system. Screen safety opportunities, identifying trends, occurrences needing immediate intervention and/or performance opportunity improvements. Facilitate root cause analysis activities, coordinate activities aimed at minimizing Hospital Acquired Conditions and monitor grievances to insure compliance with the COP's and to identify performance improvement opportunities or potential claims. * Partner with senior leadership for aligning the patient safety, risk, and quality functions within the organization. Work with the Senior Leadership and Clinical Leaders to set goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop action plans to manage risk and improve safety throughout the System. * Participate on committees and with activities related to enhancing patient safety by reducing or eliminating risk. * Performs a peer review function when investigating, analyzing, evaluating, reporting, and resolving incidents and safety events. * At times, performs investigations at the direction of general counsel and works with general counsel in the course of such investigation to provide guidance, recommendations and other assistance as requested by general counsel. * Risk identification and maintenance of reported safety events, identification of near miss, precursor and serious safety events with consistent classification of events * Provide leadership and support to physicians, clinicians and other staff related to risk reduction and patient safety improvement. * Conduct immediate and appropriate response to any serious safety event or other serious occurrences. Provide expert advice in the management and reporting of such events to administrative and clinical leadership. This includes coordinating the investigation and managing the root cause analysis activities. * Initiate claims management by reporting potential claims to insurance company, assisting in investigation and settlement/litigation preparation activities. * Work with Leadership to assess, recommend and implement strategies for a culture of safety. * Work with others to implement strategies to partner with patients to promote their safety. Identify learning needs for associates in the areas of patient safety standards and risk management. * Promote effective patient and customer relations with commitment to continuous improvement of the patient experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service. * Provide leadership and support for the development of and/or revision of policies and procedures that are focused on activities to avoid, prevent, or minimize patient harm and support regulatory requirements. * Coordination of received patient concerns, complaints, and grievances in accordance with reporting agencies. * Collect, collate, and report data specific to elements of care that impact patient safety/ regulatory requirements. Disseminate information to appropriate groups to promote continuous improvement of practices that impact patient safety.
