Adhere to department service standards of being accurate, timely and trustworthy.

Ensure proper appearance and operation of slot equipment while maintaining the compliance with all State laws, regulations and company internal policies and procedures regarding gaming devices and the personnel that maintains them.

Ensure required documentation of slot moves, maintenance and repair logs, purchase orders, and requisitions for slot machine parts and supplies are completed and properly stored appropriately.

Develop and manage the budget for the Slot Technical Department. Participate in the modification of resources due to changes in business plan or volumes.

Produce reports, analyze data, and review all slot activities and performance with the Director of Operations. Meet with other management staff as necessary.

Review reports and statistical data, for malfunctions or other problems, and ensure implementation of appropriate maintenance and repair lists.

Responsible to hire, coach and evaluate Slot Technical staff.

Responsible to train, coach and develop Slot Technical Supervisor.

Shall be able to troubleshooting various slot equipment problems or malfunctions.

Shall be able to solve complex problems as it relates to slot performance and slot performance software.

Complete all company-required training within designated time frames.

Create and maintain professional working relationships with personnel from various departments and regulators.

Read, write and understand complex instructions and will be able to interpret regulatory documents.

Maintain knowledge of Gaming laws and regulations.

Maintain awareness of all special events and promotional activities.

Maintain strict confidentiality relative to all financial data, departmental information and casino policies.

Communicate appropriately with guests, gaming officials and vendors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical/mental demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with intermittent breaks on a daily basis, walk to various areas of the casino, and be able to push, pull or move up to 950lbs with assistance .

  • Able to work varied hours which include nights, weekends and holidays.

Mental Demands:

  • Must possess ability to learn and operate various computer software programs including but not limited to Employee Access, SDS, BIS2, CMS, Kronos, MMS system, Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Able to use, understand and recommend all equipment associated with the position including (but not limited to) computers, phones, hand-held radios/headsets, hand tools, oscilloscope, volt/OHM meter, peripheral testing equipment, personal protection equipment and game simulators.

  • Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Accurately perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and an interruptive environment.

  • Maintain mental concentration for significant/extended periods of time.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with above average noise levels.

  • Exposed to electricity and an environment of varying temperatures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Training/Experience:

  • Recommended five years of experience in a state licensed or tribal casino.

  • Require at least 3 years supervising in a Slot Technical Department.

Job Knowledge:

  • An understanding of the slot operations and compliance is required.

Other:

  • Must possess exceptional oral and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Valid Gaming license.

  • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.

  • Must complete all required company training.
