The Job

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work for NBA Digital at Turner Sports NBA Digital consists of a cross-platform portfolio of digital assets. Including NBA TV, NBA.com, NBA League Pass and the NBA App

  • As the Manager, Marketing Data & Analytics, you will help lead the transformation of the marketing team into a more data-driven organization

  • You will develop and drive the marketing data vision and roadmap

  • You will actively lead regular discussions with the marketing teams to provide actionable insights in real-time, and with business stakeholders to share KPIs and sales, analytics and campaign performance reporting

  • You will be an advocate for the NBA fan, understanding their behaviors, needs and interests and influence the marketing strategies accordingly

  • You will be an analytical thinker, comfortable working cross-functionally with various stakeholders in the organization

The Day-to-Day

  • Champion and be the voice of the NBA Fan, developing marketing strategies with a Fan-first mindset

  • Partner with marketing counterparts to build out KPIs and develop reporting structure and cadence across products

  • Drive ongoing improvements and optimization by identifying insights from our data - specifically around acquisition and retention

  • Develop and implement customer segmentation, user acquisition, channel attribution and churn models

  • Co-develop and implement a data collection strategy across products/platforms

  • Oversee and own data accuracy and integrity across marketing campaigns and insights

  • Manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute data, analytics and reporting requirements across marketing functions

  • Evaluate product success by creating KPIs and scorecards with marketing counterparts

  • The Essentials

  • 6+ years' experience in analytics and working on direct-to-consumer products Past experience in launching consumer-facing digital products

  • Experience working in matrixed environments, where collaboration is key to generating results

  • Experience with marketing automation, testing, segmentation and optimization technologies

  • Experience with SQL, BI and data visualization tools

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
