PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year experience in guest-focused business (e.g. retail, restaurant, hospitality, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of all theatre crew functions.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Suite.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead and develop theatre crew and supervisors to perform the "essential functions" of their positions.

  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to crew members.

  • Ensure that associates satisfy all AMC guest service standards.

  • Ensure proper staffing in each area.

  • Perform daily, opening, and closing operational and administrative duties.

  • Reinforce guest and operational focus through MBWA (Managing By Walking Around).

  • Review financial numbers to optimize financial results and the guest experience.

  • Take ownership of the successful completion of personal training program.

  • Oversee an individual theatre department as assigned, if applicable.

  • Assist with hiring, training, developing, and appropriately disciplining associates.

  • Work effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners.

  • Listen, communicate, and work effectively with guests in high-volume setting.

  • Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts per the Management Work Schedule Policy.

  • Uphold AMC's business practice standards and ensure compliance with company programs and policies.

  • Complete all other functions and assignments as assigned by the General Manager/Senior Manager (where applicable).

  • Assist the General Manager/Senior Manager with achieving guest service and financial goals associated with Food and Beverage.

  • Oversee and complete theatre administrative reports.

UNIFORM

  • Provided by theatre: AMC-issued shirt, black pants, black belt, nametag.

  • Provided by associate: Black shoes, socks.

The ANM demonstrates leadership in the application of the nursing process to patient care, organizational processes and/or systems, and improving outcomes at the program or service level. The focus of the individual's performance encompasses a combination of clinical, administrative, educational, and research. The ANM performs at a level that impacts several units, services, service lines. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities The ANM works closely with the Nurse Manger to develop skills that demonstrate leadership and creative approaches to management of complex patient care. The ANM is an expert clinical nurse with a background of experience and an intuitive grasp of each clinical situation. The ANM demonstrates potential for leadership that is broad enough to improve the care for a group of patients. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager, the ANM is responsible for the documented outcomes at the program or service level. Program or service level outcomes must be broad and complex and can be demonstrated at any organizational level within a facility, VISN, or VACO. Program is defined as a substantial coordinated group of activities impacting patients and/or employees. The ANM shows continued progress in skill development regarding: a. Leading and organizing delivery of care to assure continuity of care and peer accountability for practice, including access to care and discharge planning; b. Using advanced clinical knowledge/judgement to promote staff involvement in planning, decision-making, and evaluating outcomes, c. Functioning as an expert in clinical practice and/or areas related to the assigned roles and responsibilities, d. Systematically evaluating current practice, and formulating outcomes for groups of patients and/or organizational processes within an area of expertise, e. Guiding, developing, and supporting staff from a leadership perspective, and f. Using professional standards of care, scientific evidence, and practice to evaluate programs and/or service activities. The ANM is clinically and administratively responsible to the Nurse Manager of the assigned unit. The incumbent and supervisor develop a mutually acceptable action plan to ensure productivity within the unit, the scope of the project plan, and the established deadlines of each associated task. He/she will be responsible for planning and organizing to define parameters on approved plans for assigned nursing staff. The individual will estimate costs, coordinate with staff and line management personnel to ensure completion on all phases of assigned projects. The incumbent will provide definitive interpretations of regulations, study procedures, and the initial application of new methods and conduct facilitation training to assigned nursing staff. He/she will keep the Nurse Manager informed on potential controversial findings, issues, or problems that may have widespread impact. The Assistant Nurse Manager will submit completed projects to the Nurse Manager for review and authorization to ensure compatibility with organizational goals, guidelines, and effectiveness in fulfilling unit goals. The ANM is also responsible and accountable for maintaining the training required to fulfill all assigned duties that reflect the educational, experiential and competency requirements outlined in the four (4) Dimensions of Nursing Practice with associated Elements: 1.
