The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. The Central Region Manager monitors outcome measures, ensures compliance with all Joint Commission and regulatory agencies'
requirements, and provides oversight to practice managers in a patient centered, team oriented model.
The Central Region Manager works closely with practice managers and staff to achieve functional goals and outstanding outcomes in clinical care and patient satisfaction.
In addition, the Central Region Manager will participate and utilize Lean approach to assess and enhance departmental operations.
The Central Region Manager also assists financial improvement through monitoring and utilization of resources and is expected to maintain collaborative relationships with external referral sources as well as internal departments.
This position reports to the Director of Operational Integration.
Bachelors Degree Required in a health related/business degree; Master's degree preferred
At least 2 years of previous management experience preferred
Ability to assess problems, determine solutions and make decisions within a timely manner
Ability to align goals with the strategic goals of the organization, as well as understand external impacts on internal
Familiarity with current best practices in integrated health delivery and improvement methodology for practice redesign
Utilize consultation and team approaches on program assessment, development and management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships, build networks, and generate resources to meet the needs of our organization and the community
The ability to inspire, motivate and empower staff in their professional development and to achieve established goals
Ability to position oneself as a leader
