About The Role:

Key part of integrated technical team responsible for account specific technical implementation of digital campaigns including display trafficking, video trafficking, research partner coding, tagging, etc of digital media campaigns. Responsible for contributing to the design, development and execution of campaign operational process with both internal and external contacts to ensure digital media plans meet client specified expectations.

What You'll Do:

In Corporate Speak: Responsible for overseeing the flawless execution of campaign operational process

In Ad Tech Talk: Be a leader on the front lines of the digital advertising industry where technology is ever-changing

  • Oversee global Ad Tech Associates and support the media and creative teams to activate digital campaigns (display, video, social, mobile)

  • Co-lead strategic conversations with client and media teams around technology integrations that can improve efficiency, range or quality of data, or support new media

  • Support Associates in the basic aspects of the trafficking process, including connecting placements to creatives, setting up consistent configurations, and collecting clean data. Lead the more complex aspects of trafficking, including Floodlight tags, DMP integrations, network upgrades, and more

  • Lead conversations with the media team on ways to work faster and smarter. Collaborate with fellow Ad Tech Managers on process to prevent errors, to ensure consistency, to create a bomb-proof QA checklist

  • Collaborate with vendors on behalf of creative agencies when troubleshooting is required

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on any number of technologies; keep yourself and the team up to date on the ever-evolving media landscape through regular research and writing POVs

  • You may work across multiple clients, in which case we want you to share the best practices of each with the rest of the group in order to improve our output and standardize our work

  • Assist clients in technology tests such as verification partners, and mobile ad servers

  • Be responsible for holding media teams and creative agencies to execution timelines

The Digital IT team is comprised of expert digital analysts and technical resources who have years of experience in the Digital Media Industry. Our primary focus is to support the 500+ user base by ensuring daily operations run uninterrupted and as efficiently and effectively as possible. We constantly strive to innovate and discover new ways in which we can optimize business processes by discovering and implementing the right tools, systems and processes to help manage and grow NBCU's Digital business. Technology Analyst responsible for NBCU's Digital Ad Sales Order Management System and Support, parenting closely with our Digital Ad Sales Planning, Pricing, Inventory and Ad Operations teams. Specific duties will include the following: * Business Analysis - Work directly with digital business leads to collect and document all business requirements and translate into system requirements. Connect the business and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions to the shifting needs of the business * Product Management and Maintenance - Define, develop, and manage digital product taxonomy across all NBCU to align with evolving sales strategy * Systems Expert - Act as internal systems expert to leverage system capabilities to identify process improvements across work streams to optimize business operations * Systems Support - Manage user requests and inquires. Demonstrate digital expertise by guiding the users on best practices and teaching them how to leverage different system functionalities to introduce business efficiencies * Training - Lead system training for both sales and traffickers and teach them key concepts in order management, trafficking, order optimization, delivery reconciliation and pacing * Vendor Management - Work directly with vendors to communicate business needs by creating detailed requirement documentation which defines our business needs/requirements which will ultimately guide vendor development * Lead Projects - Lead system focused projects that range from streamlining setup to passing along new technology information to our internal partners and guiding on the best way to implement. Work alongside the Project Manager Team and Sales Platform Team on larger scale projects where you will be the system expert Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * 2+ years in the digital media ad sales and operations industry * System experience working with Operative * Project Management and business analyst skill set * Understands ad server technologies and product taxonomy (Google Ad, Workbench, etc) * Strong knowledge of sales planning, order fulfillment, inventory, ad operations, trafficking, order optimization, pacing and delivery reconciliation * Experience using Jira or similar * Technical background – experience setting up system integrations, troubleshooting ad tech issues, and system configuration * Understands end of the month invoicing, reconciliation and billing concepts * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Ability to think strategically and creatively * Must be willing to work in New York, NY NBC Universal New York NY
