Monitor processing of invoicing; ensure timely and accurate invoicing
Ensure timely collection of payments
Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures
Negotiate with customers in non-payment cases
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in legal collection cases
Prepare and monitor internal reporting on Accounts Receivable aging
Oversee dunning notifications to customers
Support other business units including but not limited to Sales and Pricing
Support Internal, SOX and External audits
Support Accounts Receivable specialists on a daily basis and train new team members
Prepare annual performance reviews
Identify and maintain performance metrics for the Accounts Receivable team.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in the Accounts Receivable field.
Team management and negotiation skills.
Superior spreadsheet skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
Must be able to multi-task
