Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.Leadership and Team Management: Leading and managing a team of accounts payable specialists, setting goals, managing performance, providing guidance and support, and fostering a positive and productive team culture.
2.Process management: Managing the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment processing, and expense reporting.
3.Vendor management: Managing vendor relationships and ensuring that payments are made on time and accurately.
4.Budget management: Managing the accounts payable budget and ensuring that expenses are in line with budgetary guidelines.
5.Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations
6.Process improvement: Continuously improving the accounts payable process to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
7.Communication and collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as finance, accounting, and procurement, to ensure that financial records and transactions are accurately recorded and reported, and to provide guidance on accounts payable matters.
Qualifications
Required Education: Associate's Degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: Five (5) or more years in an organization Accounts Payable space in progressive roles to include prior leadership positions.
Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Six Sigma
Computer Skills Required: Google Suite preferred; willingness to learn Oracle and leverage the training, reporting, and process components to excel at role
