THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN NYC OR LA
The Manager, Account Management, position is an integral part of HBO's Worldwide Digital Distribution & Home Entertainment team. This person will be responsible for helping grow HBO's revenue and subscribers across the company's distribution business and will report directly to the Director of Account Management.
Achieve subscriber goals for the HBO NOW subscription business and target revenue goals for the HBO transactional EST business.
Proactively develop, execute, and optimize business plans that drive toward revenue and subscriber goals in structured, measurable way.
Seek promotional opportunities to maximize and drive incremental support from partners.
Develop, foster, and maintain relationships across HBO distribution partners and internal cross-functional teams.
Facilitate and lead meetings with internal and external partners to drive the execution of key initiatives.
Collaborate with HBO Business Planning & Partner Marketing teams on marketing, pricing recommendations, promotional opportunities, and operations.
Collaborate with HBO Product & Operations teams on technical product features & capabilities that achieve business goals and partnership targets.
Build accurate forecasts and monitor performance to goal on an ongoing basis to identify and fill gaps to goal.
Manage processes to track sales and subscriber performance, summarizing and analyzing effectiveness of campaigns and identifying best practices.
Manage and develop a direct report.
Provide ad-hoc project support with adaptive, on-the-fly, positive attitude.
Proactively stay current on digital distribution industry trends and the evolving landscape.
Bachelor's Degree required.
A minimum of 5 years professional experience. Account management is preferred.
Strong Excel and Power Point skills. Proficiency in Word.
Proactive self-starter with strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Detail oriented and capable of prioritizing multiple projects accordingly.
Analytical and capable of making effective business recommendations supported by data.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
