Join the Audience organization as a senior engineering manager (M2) to help our customers effectively configure and manage their acquisition workflows of their own contact lists into Mailchimp. This includes supporting bulk import flows, Forms, Import APIs, multi-channel data sources tracking and reconciliation, ..etc.

Audience organization is on a journey to create a new set of modules and capabilities to serve our customers better, and through this journey we want to uphold the highest operational excellence standards and deliver stellar user experiences.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our New York office two or more days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Build a high performing team by hiring and evaluating team members performance based on Intuit's engineering rubrics. Provide constructives and clearly communicated feedback and co-creates growth plans with individuals.

  • Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, scalable web applications and microservices with utmost attention to quality, security, and performance metrics for APIs and experiences.

  • Engrossed in the details of product, tech and architecture in order to co-create a feasible development plan with cross-functional stakeholders (Product management and Design).

  • Lead the evolution of our capabilities on both Frontend (Forms, Import flow) and Backend with API-first mindset, and drive within your domain capabilities the continuous modernization and improvement of our operational and performance metrics.

  • Ruthlessly prioritizing and unblocking teams on delivering high-value outcomes, managing deadlines and deliverables, while keeping transparency over the rationale. Help teams sift through any noise with clearly communicated vision and priorities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (with product management, design and program management) through change management and provide the technical guidance and evaluations needed to maintain high quality product experiences for customers.

  • Proactively identify team blockers. Define and execute remediation steps to keep the team velocity and deliverables value to customers high.

  • Ready to quickly learn and dive deep into the code, when needed for evaluation and discussions, and comfortable navigating a diverse set of languages and technologies: PHP, Kotlin/Java, React, Spring Framework, MySQL, Kafka, and AWS technologies.
