Sodexo is seeking a Dining Room Manager for Vinson Hall Retirement Community in McLean, Virginia. This is an upscale Continuing Care Retirement Community located just minutes from downtown Washington DC.
As the Dining Room Manager you will be responsible for meal services in the Independent living dining room including employee training, upholding service standards, assisting with menu development, inventory and innovative dining activities. You will manage 25 wait staff employees, food quality and food safety, the daily operations of the dining room, assist with catered events and in the Bistro, and will effectively manage labor costs. Your position reports to the General Manager and provides staff training, supervision and support, works with employees to continually improve performance and customer satisfaction; manage all dining events with enthusiasm while providing hands-on guidance during resident and client functions in order to produce outstanding dining experiences.
Supervises Executive Dining Room staff and service operations in an Executive Dining Room to ensure an excellent customer experience and client satisfaction. Implements company service and quality standards to achieve the account's goals while demonstrating the company mission and values. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and program that exceed client and customer expectations.Key DutiesDevelops and maintains customer relationships to achieve excellent customer and client satisfaction with Executive Dining Room services, staff, and food quality.- operations in an Executive Dining Room.
