Job Summary:

The Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for the accurate deployment of offers in the EPC and CSG platforms for all sales channels in the Northeast Division. The Manager leads a team of analysts that reviews all offers prior to launch to ensure that there is no revenue loss or customer impact. Collaborates with the Offer Management team to set achievable expectations on offer launch dates. This role works closely with the Finance, Marketing, and Sales departments within the Division. Leadership experience, Analytical and critical thinking skills are a must.

Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Billing Systems

department. Responsible for Software support, upgrades, advice, billing

statements, and customer auditing. Participates in performance reviews,

develops succession plans, encourages professional development, and

manages issues of direct reports.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manages and trains staff to produce maximum productivity and

performance.

  • Ensures that all daily work is completed in an accurate and timely

manner.

  • Coordinates with other Billing System staff to ensure all database

information is consistently accurate to ensure delivery of accurate

information to other departments within the system.

  • Acts as an area-wide resource concerning billing system issues.

  • Ensures that the proper rate codes/promo's are available within the

systems and that the system is maximizing revenue.

  • Manages Sarbanes Oxley compliance for Billing Processes.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters

of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work

nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

  • Computer Science, Information Sciences/Technology

    • Generally requires 6-9 years related experience

Possible assignments include some or all of the following: planning, coordination, programming and implementation of releases/product patches, upgrades or changes to Real Time Systems application software. The individual will work closely with operations to analyze business/technical needs and related issues to formulate and develop or purchase new and/or modified computer programs/systems; create revision to existing programs, systems and procedures and use appropriate tools to troubleshoot and correct deficiencies; and/or, reconcile user requirements with existing and/or projected computer capacity, capabilities and performance. Experiences in real-time operations support involving applications such as Energy Management Systems (EMS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Power system database/modeling and RTU protocols required. Experience with distributed technologies, relational databases and knowledge of infrastructure technology (Windows server 2012, Windows XP/7, Active Directory, IT Network/Security, etc.), as relates to Real Time System Infrastructure is a plus. Qualified candidate with experience in EMS/DMS product suite from GE Grid Solution (formerly Alstom Grid) will be given preference. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: In addition to exceptional analytical skills, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong customer focus, team membership skills and oral/written communications skills. A proven track record of producing quality products to predetermined standards and specifications plus a desire to learn and apply new skills are required.
