The Management Trainee position's primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement, "to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests." Additionally, Management Trainees perform a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management (e.g. cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities). Work directly with Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills in order to become a Store Manager. The Management Trainee will also share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as the Store Manager in their absence. The Management Trainee position is an advanced leadership position and therefore includes additional high level duties that are specific to that position, though the majority of job duties and responsibilities are shared.

Sales Generation and Guest Service

Greets Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is consistently prepared to provide legendary service to each Guest.

Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development

Develop skills and assist in leading, directing, motivating and educating new Teammates to meet and achieve Buckle's accountability, shift orientation, loss prevention and sales presentation standards on a daily basis.

Visual Merchandise Management

Develop skills and educate Teammates to implement, evaluate and create visual displays based on Buckle guidelines.


Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, all based upon store and business needs.

Set goals and expectations to complete an extensive Management Trainee Program with weekly topics, assignments, and reviews.

Establish relationships and excellent communication with Area Managers, District Manager and Corporate Office to assist Store Manager in effective operation of the store.

Supervisory and Leadership

Support Store Manager by planning and leading the Team, daily reviewing with Teammates and participation in Team meetings.

Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs.

Teammate Classifications

Full-time Teammates are those regularly scheduled to work 35 or more hours per week and are actively engaged in the business for a minimum of five (5) days per week on a regularly scheduled basis. Full-time Teammates may be eligible to participate in Buckle's full-time benefit programs. Many of the programs have a waiting period before the benefits become active.

The WIM Risk Appetite Program Analytics Consultant 2 role will be responsible for program implementation and day-to-day operation of the WIM Risk Appetite Program. WIM's Risk Appetite Program is broad, supporting qualitative and quantitative metrics across all Key Risk Types that WIM's businesses have exposure to, at the WIM group level and across WIM's lines of businesses. The program fulfills requirements of the Enterprise Risk Measurement Program (encompassing the Enterprise Risk Appetite and Key Indicator programs), and the Consumer Credit 4100 Portfolio Management Policy. Reporting provides insight into risk exposures for WIM leadership, and Risk Appetite is integrated with the Enterprise Risk Identification Inventory and Strategic Planning. WIM's program is built on collaboration with line of business, group risk and functional risk teams, ensuring that the appropriate risks are being captured and monitored in the program. The program is highly visible with monthly reporting provided to leaders in WIM, WIM Risk, Corporate Functional Risk and WFAS. Results from WIM's program and proposed changes are included in senior WIM Risk Committee materials for discussion and approval, with updates and results additionally shared with WIM's regulators. Key Responsibilities * Maintain reporting calendar for the WIM Risk Appetite Program, ensure WIM's reporting schedule is aligned with the Enterprise Risk Measurement Program * Ensure required deliverables for enterprise initiatives, including the Enterprise Risk Appetite and Key Indicator Program are completed in a timely manner * Reviewing variance analysis for metric results, following up with partners to determine appropriate resolution * Maintain and execute the monthly WIM Risk Measurement Program's excel based reporting package * Maintain and update RACS (Risk Appetite Control System) SharePoint to support reporting * Maintain and update distribution lists for monthly reporting * Collaborating with team members in the Enterprise Risk Measurement Program to effectively identify impacts to WIM's Risk Appetite Program * Collaborate, review metric proposals, results, and trigger responses with key line of business metric owners and independent risk management team leads * Help evolve Risk Appetite Reporting and supporting the team in production of reporting * Ensure reports are published in a timely manner without errors * Executing G&O requirements to ensure the WIM Risk Appetite Program is compliant * Developing thorough knowledge of the WIM Risk Appetite Program Required Qualifications * 4+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 2+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both Desired Qualifications * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * A BS/BA degree or higher Other Desired Qualifications * Strong drive, curiosity and willingness to research and learn across data, processes, products and risks * Ability to interact effectively and confidently with line of business, independent risk management partners * Working knowledge and experience with SHRP (Shared Risk Platform) Tool * Knowledge and understanding of at least one risk area (e.g. Credit, Market, Operational) * Proven written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to adapt to change effectively in a complex, matrixed environment * Proven ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines * Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel) Salary Information The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
