DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will provide administrative and office support within the Spotted Lantern Fly (SLF) program to the Plant Protection Division Chief and staff to ensure the programs operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. Duties include the preparation and review of expenditure reports, review and management of grant budgets and spending, tracking purchase requests, and managing the program vehicle fleet.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment

  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
