Management Specialist 2 - Hazard Mitigation Support

Job Description

CDM Smith is seeking to enhance our team to primarily support FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program (HMTAP), and other related contracts with the U.S. Projects include providing technical assistance to FEMA grant programs, policy and guidance development and support, applied research, and environmental compliance activities with both FEMA Headquarters and any of FEMA's nine Regional offices. Projects are located throughout the U.S. and its territories.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a FEMA Badge, which includes a background investigation for a Public Trust position.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. 1 year of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with FEMA or State-led Hazard Mitigation programs, Emergency and Disaster Support.
