Job Description and Duties
If you enjoy performing a combination of analytical and clerical work, the Public Records Coordinator position with the Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) may be for you. DWC within the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is responsible for the administration of workers' compensation claims and provides services to assist resolving disputes with claims for workers' compensation benefits. DWC is seeking an organized individual with attention to detail as the Public Records Coordinator. The Public Records Coordinator will review, analyze and respond to Public Records Act (PRA) requests and will maintain and ensure PRA logs are up to date. The ideal candidate will also provide excellent customer service to the public in person, by telephone and through email.
This position has flexibility to telework and is expected to report to the office at least 3 days per week. Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40-hour work week)

The incumbent works in a smoke-free DWC Office under LED lighting, controlled temperature, quiet to moderate noise levels; equipped with cubicles, computer, and other office equipment. Telework available two (2) days per week. The office is located in the Junipero Serra Building across the street from a Metro station and a block away from Grand Central Market and other sites of interest within the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles.
