The main functions of the Risk Reporting Lead Analyst are:
Work closely with risk management, technology and business counterparts on new regulatory mandated deliverables regarding DSFT transactions (Derivatives and Securities Based Financing Transactions) and other regulatory driven projects.
Analyze and investigate gaps in existing DSFT infrastructure to enhance existing reporting and system capabilities
Understand/interpret the nuances of the questions and requests from senior management and regulators and work with risk managers and portfolio analysts to come up with solutions/alternatives.
Arrange meetings and share findings with key stakeholders as needed
Prepare regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers
Coordinates with risk management, technology, finance to make sure the risk portfolio information contained in various reports and presentations are accurate, and make sense.
Utilize Excel and Access databases to produce new reports to analyze data and produce MIS within specified timeline.
The Risk Reporting team interacts with industry global risk portfolio managers, Finance, Technology, Audit, and other areas within Franchise Risk Infrastructure and across the firm.
6+ years of work experience
Advanced knowledge of EXCEL, Access, Visual Basic and Power Point required.
Knowledge of credit risk measures and basic accounting
Knowledge of Citigroup internal reporting applications, particularly Risk and Finance applications, is desired but not required
Good team player and excellent work ethics
Self-starter, able to think independently to meet deliverables
Organizational & interpersonal skills
Prior management experience preferred
