Job Description
Assist the Off-Campus Relations Team Program Coordinator Senior (PCS) with implementation of Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Grant to reduce alcohol use and related harm specific to off-campus social gatherings. Assists with program logistics, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs as outlined in the grant proposal.
Involve coordinating logistics, planning of virtual and in-person activities on and off-campus, creation of supportive messaging, supporting apartment managers training needs to address social gatherings that
include alcohol and create/provide Welcome Kits that set the tone for off-campus engagement.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.) and Google applications (i.e., Doc, Sheet, etc.), will be reliable, will work hard to learn our processes and all job functions, and live at an off-campus apartment complex.
Please note that your position is established through our department's internal program and is currently
scheduled to end on September 30. 2024. An additional one-year extension may be offered contingent upon annual review, approval, and funding. As a Management Intern with Educational Outreach and Student Services, you are required to be enrolled in a Graduate Program during the duration of your employment and continuation of your employment will be based on your at-will status as well as being enrolled in a Graduate Program.

Working Environment
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking.
Visual acuity and manual dexterity are associated with daily use of a computer, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
May need to host events outside during all seasons.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Desired Qualifications
Evidence of a Bachelor's degree in social-behavioral sciences, public health, and/or related field.
Evidence in being enrolled in a graduate Master's degree program at ASU.
Currently living in an off-campus apartment community.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to all campus locations (Downtown campus, Poly campus, Tempe campus, and West campus).
Evidence of focus on details.
Knowledge of health education, college health, public health, student development and stages of development.
Experience in relationship building with internal and external partners.
Evidence of effective communication.
Experience in public speaking/training facilitation.
Experience with planning and implementing training programs.
Experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in data analytics and working in spreadsheet document(s) and detail oriented.

Essential Duties
Assist PCS with off-campus affiliate housing community partnerships to deliver programming for off-campus students at apartment communities that provides an alternative to social gatherings.
Support PCS in their efforts to collaborate with ASU Educational Outreach and Student Services, as well as other on campus departments to provide programming and engagement opportunities for off-campus students.
Assist PCS in creating and disseminating new and existing electronic messages promoting safe ways to connect and build friendships, active bystander (upstander) behaviors, positive norms, and creative ways to build connections.
Assist PCS in building collaborative relationships with apartment managers and their employees to provide presentation/discussions sessions (virtual or in person) addressing social gatherings at least once a semester.
Assemble and disseminate Welcome Kits for off-campus students to include information about healthy community norms, expectations for off-campus residents, safety tips, alcohol and other drug education and program collateral.
Attend on-going training sessions and group meetings with ASU community members.
Distribute and post university-related information in designated off-campus locations.
Build relationships with student residents living in the apartment community.
Create newsletters for students on ASU resources, events and programs.
Promote campus programs/events in off-campus apartment communities.
Coordinate Wellness events, onsite exercise class, mental health inquiries.
Plan, organize and implement programs that support student success.
Maintain a library of ASU resources for distribution to students.
Serve as a mentor, resource referral and role model to others.
Create and host Social Media campaigns.
Serve on Upper Division committees to assist in the development of upper division housing.
Prepare reports and data analysis.
Hosting events on and off-campus (Tempe, West, Poly, and Downtown)
Preparing supplies and marketing collaterals for hosting events (i.e., flyers, brochures)
Attend weekly office meetings to take notes
Creating PowerPoints/Slides for meetings, programming, and data analysis. • Other duties as assigned.
