Management Development Program: Auto Damage - Florida
Note: The safety of our associates, both current and future, is GEICO's highest priority. At this time, most of our associates are working remotely due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home in a designated work area. Once GEICO determines it is safe for associates to return to the office, candidates will be required to work in their assigned office.
Salary: $48,500 /year
Salary with Master's Degree: $49,500 /year

The goal of this 1.5-2 year* management training program is to develop future business leaders to help us continue our path of steady growth, profitability and success. As a management trainee in Auto Damage, you will learn what makes GEICO one of the fastest growing insurer in the U.S.

Our program is designed to provide you with the support, guidance and challenge to prepare you for managing a team within our Auto Damage department.
In this development program, you will:
Attend paid, industry-leading training in Virginia and learn about vehicle damage caused by accidents, weather and other natural disasters
Gain hands-on claims handling experience and build credibility by doing the job of the team you'll one day manage
Be mentored by successful GEICO managers and directors
Motivate, inspire and develop a team of Auto Damage adjusters by using skills learned through supervisor preparation curriculum, development seminars and management forums
Coach associates and demonstrate your leadership skills
Make meaningful contributions to real life business projects

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA
Prior leadership experience
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective time management, attention to detail, communication and organizational skills
Availability to attend an extensive, 12-week paid training program, including 3 weeks at our Ashburn, VA facility
Required for Remote Work:
A quiet workplace so you can focus on delivering excellent service to our customers
Must live in a location that can leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Minimum upload speed 5 MB/s, preferred upload speed 25 MB/
Minimum download speed 25 MB/s, preferred download speed 50 MB/s
Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training
Candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed
