Job Summary

Responsible for carrying out functions related to the long-range financial plans, budget plans, and related financial analysis. Carries out the maintenance and continuing development of the financial planning and budgeting systems. Interacts with key stakeholders in carrying out the long-range financial plans and budgets of the health system.

Essential Functions

  • Applies the principles and practices of financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  • Researches and analyzes financial data and trends as requested to assist in organizations financial planning.

  • Prepares long range financial plans and operating budget plans and provides cross-team multi-facility support for internal customers.

  • Conducts and documents financial analysis projects in the department.

  • Prepares accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.

  • Ensures completeness, accuracy, and integrity of databases, mappings, and reference tables with the financial planning and budgeting systems.

  • Works with Information Systems and software vendor to resolve system issues.

  • Manages, updates, and maintains system documentation.

  • Identifies and carries out requisite system structure changes.

  • Educates end users of system features, capabilities, and enhancements as they become available.

Physical Requirements

Work requires sitting at a desk, working on a computer, talking on the telephone, and preparing reports and other statistical data in an office environment. Must be able to stand, walk and travel in personal car to other facilities. Work also requires the carrying of up to 20 pounds of materials (files, projectors, laptops).

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelors Degree in Health Administration, Business, or Finance required. Minimum 2 to 4 years of related experience preferred.

Testing and validation teams are responsible for implementing the Enterprise Testing methodology and standards, and executing group- specific testing. Within Enterprise Testing for Wholesale, the Corporate & Investment Banking/Investment Portfolio (CIB/IP) team is seeking a testing consultant to support regulatory compliance testing and validation activities. Within a team environment and reporting to a Testing Manager, she/he will be responsible for providing independent assurance on the design and operating effectiveness of business controls in accordance with Enterprise standards including development and maintenance of strong relationships across Enterprise Risk, lines of business, and Wells Fargo Internal Audit, as well as regulators; specifically, * Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a risk-based compliance program to assure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements or may provide oversight to a compliance function. * Works with assigned business units and provides compliance risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with moderate to high risk to identify, assess and mitigate regulatory risk in all business activities. * Develops testing strategies and methodologies; evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls and identifies issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations. * Consults with business to develop corrective action plans and effectively manage change to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies training opportunities; may design/coordinate the development of training materials and delivers training. Reports findings and drafts recommendations to compliance risk and business line management. * Coordinates production of periodic compliance performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommended strategies. * Coordinates site, agency or other examinations conducted by external parties. * May manage project teams and provide guidance to less experienced specialists/consultants.
