Duties
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Performs data management, program analysis and coordination in support of the service and Nursing Service Programs.
Responsible for integrating, coordinating, and managing a multitude of administrative functions as well as spearheading administrative, clinical, financial, and managerial responsibilities.
Performing a wide range of activities that change periodically due to a variety of factors.
Perform complex assignments within designated suspense periods, various quantitative and qualitative reports, budget reports.
Applies analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural, administrative, or factual nature.
Works independently with minimal supervision to control and maintain office and/or information systems such as forms, records, mail distribution, directives, or publications, and management systems.
Monitors and reviews performance measures specific to Nursing Patient Care metrics and entering appropriate information into the electronic records as needed.
Participates and provides input in problem solving on operational issues or procedures in team meetings, performing administrative follow up actions and participating in and independently following up on team huddles by sharing information and collaborating with the medical team to assure continuity of care of the Nursing units or patient care areas.
Submits 2237s for procurement of supplies and services.
Serves as the main point of contact for the vendors on the premises and for contract related payments and renewals.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30a.m. to 3:00p.m.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 10/04/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.
Physical Requirements: Work is partly sedentary however multiple responsibilities of the position impose active physical demands, to include walking, reaching, stooping, bending, and standing for lengthy periods. Incumbent must be able to handle the demands of facility management such as addressing necessary building repairs, work orders, supply requests, and cope with stressful situations to include prioritizing multiple conflicting priorities. Working some over time may be necessary at times. The incumbent is responsible for properly addressing and elevating any housekeeping, security, safety issues in general that arise frequently within a patient care unit / setting.
