Information Technology Applications Development

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• Meets with top-level managers and executives within the Service to define the overall goals and objectives of the project.

• Prepares action plans and schedules for various phases of project accomplishment, both short and long-range; ensures that plans are consistent with Departmental and Service goals, schedules, and policies.

• Prepares recommendation for personnel and budget requirements to accomplish the project; negotiates with managers of various components of the Service to obtain needed resources and support.

• Establishes a system to review, control, and report on project status.

• Plans, coordinates, and establishes operating methods and procedures for accomplishment of project mission; as needed, directs the development and accomplishment of employee training relating to the project.

• This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.

Qualifications

Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-15: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: demonstrated expert knowledge of a wide range of online marketing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, qualitative and quantitative sufficient to accomplish complex projects or studies that are broad in scope and magnitude; Experience in online marketing management, including social networks, blogs, and web pages; Experience performing project management duties including coordinating and integrating project objectives, tracking milestones, coordinating resources and mitigating risks. In addition, your experience should include the ability to work effectively with others and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to provide customer service, written guidance and communicate findings and recommendations.

• Tour of Duty: Day Shift

• Start and stop times between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

• Alternative work schedule, staggered work hours or telework may be available.

• In the event that a building is closed due to rent management, new hires may be placed in a local commuting location.

• Relocation expenses will not be provided
