You'll Be Responsible for:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. This may involve working with spreadsheets, databases, and statistical software to compile and analyze data related to budgets, expenditures, performance metrics, and program outcomes.

  • Analyze financial data, perform cost-benefit analysis, and forecast future trends.

  • Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.

  • Work closely with project teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and monitor progress.

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to staff members on relevant policies, procedures, and tools. Serve as a resource for employees seeking assistance with data analysis, report writing, or other related tasks.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, department heads, staff members, and community partners. Build positive relationships, gather feedback, and facilitate communication to support decision-making and problem-solving efforts.

  • Support project planning, implementation, and evaluation activities. Coordinate project tasks, track progress, and assist in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Prepare clear and concise reports, memos, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and analysis results to management, stakeholders, and external agencies. Ensure that reports adhere to organizational standards and guidelines.

  • Participates in budget preparation, analysis, and administration.

ARE YOU QUALIFIED

Education and/or Experience:

Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree in public or business administration, accounting, or a related field; and six (6) months of experience conducting research and analysis or any combination of training and experience that provides the desired knowledge and abilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of the principles of research, statistical analysis and report preparation; organization and functions of the assigned municipal department; principles of accounting and auditing; methods and procedures of budget preparation; computer applications in administrative functions; general office procedures. Ability to perform specialized administrative tasks; conduct research, perform analysis, and prepare and present reports of findings; work independently; interpret and apply related laws, ordinances and policies; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; meet the public in situations requiring diplomacy and tact; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Successful candidates shall be required to:

  • Pass a pre-employment medical exam.
