The incumbent performs Management Analyst duties for Spinal Cord Injury Service. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the SCI menus in VISTA and acts as a trouble shooter for and trainer of all personnel reporting directly to Spinal Cord Injury Service.

The Selectee can be expected to perform the following duties;
Coordination and implementation of the SCI menus in VISTA
Plans and coordinates training sessions on related computer applications for all physicians, residents, fellows, allied health care professionals, WOC's, administrative staff, and other staff as requested.
Collect and analyzes data from a wide variety of sources and formats.
Communicates with IT and coordinates with other services and other SCI sites as indicated.
Ensures all SCI residents, fellows, and medical students from affiliated schools receive appropriate forms prior to their first day of rotation.
Serves as point of contact within the service for all CRPS matters.
Work closely with other hospital staff to implement integrated packages, resolve conflicts, and ensure the smoother operation of the service.
Assist the service by collecting and analyzing statistical data, maintenance of workload records, and other related duties.
Assist with performance measure data for SCI.
Responsible for accumulating, preparing, and interpreting data for various reports as requested by the Chief, Administrative Officer, and other staff members as requested.
Consolidates and finalizes information from various reports in accordance with established reporting procedures and/or instructions from the supervisor.
Interpret written regulations and software documentation in order to gain knowledge of ADP related activities

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. This position is relatively sedentary. However, the position may require the ability to walk, or utilize other forms of ambulation to complete assigned tasks.
Work Environment: There are risks and discomforts that can be associated with this position. The position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, utilize a computer and manage phone lines. Incumbent is expected to abide by all health and safety policies and procedures is this position. Incumbent is also expected to be able to participate in SCI emergency drills, as scheduled.
