Management Analyst 3

The Position

Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.

The Division of Public and Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Management Analyst III in Carson City. Under the direction of the Administrative Services Officer III, the incumbent is responsible for fiscal review and oversight of budgets, including, but not limited to, budget preparation and execution, preparation of annual spending plans, federal and state reporting, review and audit documents, forecasting of revenues and expenditures, review of sub-grants and contracts, and preparation of work programs.

The incumbent will also act as a liaison between the Division and Budget Office and/or Legislative Counsel Bureau staff as well as other state agencies; ensuring timely services while meeting deadlines with severe time constraints.
