Management Analyst 3

The Position

Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) announces an opportunity to join a customer-centric, service-delivery organization focused on providing quality technology solutions for Nevada state agencies. The Management Analyst 3 position supports the Network Services Division which is comprised of three distinct groups: Network Transport Services, Telecommunications, and Network Engineering. This position works closely with OCIO leadership to develop, review, monitor, and develop the OCIO biennium budget build process for an 'internal service fund' organization; review and provide legislative related analysis as it applies to OCIO operations; and assist in preparing and administrating OCIO contracts, requests for proposals, and other fiscal development and monitoring related tasks as required. Additionally, the Management Analyst 3 provides research and analysis in support of management and departmental operations including preparation of reports, development of presentations, identifying and compiling agency metrics, and studying technology industry trends. The incumbent will conduct studies and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding administrative policy and legislative and budgetary issues.
