Management Analyst 2

The Position

Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.

The Division of Health Care Financing and Policy is recruiting to fill a Management Analyst 2 position within the Managed Care and Quality Assurance Unit in Carson City. The successful candidate will join the team of Managed Care Organization (MCO) and Dental Benefits Administrator (DBA) contract monitors.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements; including, but not limited to: providing contract, policy, and federal regulation interpretation; report management; utilization and case management data analysis; network adequacy analysis and federal reporting; following complaints through to resolution; ensuring issues are documented appropriately; representing the Unit at Hearing Preparation Meetings; updating and presenting Medicaid Services Manual (MSM) changes at Public Hearing; submitting and following through on requests for data; initiating and tracking Production Discrepancy Reports; and leading meetings with stakeholders as necessary.
