The Management Accounting specialist will have the unique opportunity to:
Support and be a key contributor to the implementation of the Costing module in the Solvay ERP SAP implementation Project for Composite Materials Global Business Unit (GBU) (Solstice Aero Project)
Run costing activities for Composite Materials GBU in the Management Accounting Service Unit, having a key role in the Service Unit for the GBU.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
1/ during the project :
Assisting in the testing process and participating in all required preparation activities such as Integration Testing Cycles and Business Acceptance tests acting as a key contributor in this last one.
Acquiring Business confirmation testing for all new functionality
Delivering end-user training and participating in all required training preparation activities including training materials.
Be the Management Accounting SU representative in the project and a key contributor for the project in Costing domain
Working in collaboration and partnership with Information System (IS) team and Finance Service Line Integration management
Providing post go-live support such as:
Performing costing activities (in and out month end closing) in a specific SAP ERP System (BOM Vault) combined with the Solvay standard ERP System for Composites Materials GBU (Assessment cycles, costing run, costing release, product costing, Run material usage variance, etc.)
Providing support to the Business for the costing process
Assisting Solvay Service Center (SC) teams with developing the specific costing knowledge related to Composite Materials GBU.
Providing support and interfacing with SU Management Accounting member for costing activities
Education and Experience
Working experience in Management Accounting is a plus
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Strong communication skills, being approachable, outgoing and enthusiastic.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent computer skills, advanced PC skills with knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google products.
Ability to travel 30% / 40% of the time (during the project phase).
