The principal purpose of this position is to grow assets under management/administration on CBSI's Managed Money platform
StrategicPortfolios across the national footprint for all advisors. The objective of this role is managed money asset growth This position leads the sales activities and efforts of F2F distribution primarily through registered representatives in our proprietary broker dealer channel
CUNA Brokerage Services Inc (CBSI).
This is a focused, business-building position. Success is accomplished through developing and expanding advisor relationships, providing outstanding investment sales training & assistance and executing sales programs and strategies. The position will also coordinate sales field support and engagement with approved money managers and strategists on the platform, providing strategic guidance and tactical coordination.
Develop new business and maintain existing business relationships by conducting proactive sales activities.
Provide current producing advisers with up-to-date information on StrategicPortfolios/Managed Money and timely business building sales ideas.
Reach out to prospective advisers within designated territory to grow managed money assets and market share.
Manage a business in partnership with a Regional Sales Associate (RSA), Advisor Managers and RPLs.
Participate in CMFG and CBSI meetings, conferences and events.
Stay current on all aspects of managed money and StrategicPortfolios platform, as well as economic and market conditions pertinent to the sales of managed money.
Assist representatives in developing higher levels of investment knowledge, communication & sales capabilities and business promotion through F2F meetings, webinars, and outbound calls.
Support advisor sales efforts by helping conduct client seminars and individual sales presentations (point-of-sale).
Manage resources provided by CMFG including the territory marketing and T&E budget.

Bachelor's Degree in Business or 10 years of related industry experience.
7 to 10 years of prior investment products wholesaling experience, preferably managed money/advisory related (preferred).
Retail F2F experience selling similar investment products in an institutional setting.
Knowledge of wholesaling within the credit union/bank channel space is preferred
FINRA Series 7 and 65 licenses required. .
Industry designations preferred (CPA, CFA, ChFC, CLU, etc.)
Demonstrated sales & marketing knowledge of managed money with a proven track record for asset growth.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Exercise sound judgment and solid decision making for allocating company resources for business development
Strong territory management and organizational skills. Highly motivated to work independently and under pressure.
Willingness and ability to travel 75 % of the time over a large geographic territory.
