Our Radiology department is a fast-paced, state of the art imaging center that supports the 425-bed Academic Medical Center. DHMC & Clinics Relocations Services Responsibilities: We have open positions in the following modalities on various shifts: Medical Imagers (X-Ray Technologists): Our Medical Imagers perform radiologic procedures requiring advanced technical skills and understanding of complicated requests from specialized clinics.

They work in many different areas providing coverage for Outpatients, Portables, Emergency Room, OR, Fluoroscopy and Neuroradiology. Our Radiology staff perform at the highest potential of their license. MRI Technologists : Our MRI Technologists work in an environment that challenges them with a fast pace and wide variety of advanced imaging exams including Breast Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, Functional Brain Imaging, Multi-Parametric Prostate Imaging and many different MRA studies.

The MRI department is a close group of energetic technologists that enjoy working together to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our patients to receive exceptional quality imaging. CT Technologists : Our CT Technologists perform exams requiring advanced technical CT skills and understanding of complicated requests from specialized clinics.

Technologists perform a wide variety of exams from Cardiac CT to 3D Interventional Procedures.

As the only Trauma One center in the state of NH, we perform many high acuity CT exams. VIR Technologists : The Vascular Interventional Radiographic Technologist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH supports providers during vascular, neuroedovascular, and general interventional procedures. DHMC is a level I trauma center as well as a comprehensive stroke center of excellence.

In order to support these distinctions, off hours and weekend call shifts are expected. As a member of the Interventional team, you will be working alongside fellow VIR technologists, support staff, nurses, physicians, and associate providers. Ultrasonographers : Our Ultrasound Technicians (Ultrasonographers) practice with committed Radiology professionals, Obstetricians, Gynecologists and Urologists in one of the most technologically advanced settings in the country.

They perform at the highest potential of their license, performing complex examinations such as high risk gynecological, obstetrics, infertility and general imaging on the newest GE & Philips ultrasound systems available. Mammographers : The Mammography department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH has two clinical areas, screening, and diagnostics. Special procedures such as needle localizations, image-guided core and well as MRI biopsies, and sentinel node injections are performed in the diagnostic area.

The Breast Imaging division is a component of the Comprehensive Breast Care Program (CBCP) at DHMC. The Breast Imaging division also performs Dxa exams. Qualifications: Medical Imagers:

Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved allied health program specific to the modality employed. Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision. Must be proficient in the use of Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Transport, and/or other computer systems unique to the specific imaging section.

Must be able and willing to work: on-call, weekends, holidays and variable shifts. Professional registry for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for modality employed is required when mandated by Federal or section certifications or registry eligible. MRI, CT and VIR Technologists:

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology with 1 year of experience required. Registered with the ARRT. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire. Ultrasonographers: Graduate of accredited program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and registry eligible required.

Minimum one (1) year of experience performing a wide range of general and specialty ultrasound exams preferred.

Experience in high-risk OB, advanced abdominal imaging, complex infertility, and guided biopsies preferred. Possesses a broad knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology and/or physiological data. Competent in Ultrasound reporting systems Mammographers:

Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, registered with the ARRT, in addition to certification in Mammography with the ARRT. Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited program; based on ARRT guidelines. 1 year of clinical Mammography experience required. Required Licensure/Certifications:

Medical Imagers, CT, MRI, VIR Technologists: Professional registry for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for modality employed is required when mandated by Federal or section certifications or registry eligible. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire Ultrasonographers: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required.

Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire.

Must maintain active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in specialty areas. Required to obtain Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) prior to employment; and Abdomen (AB) specialty required within 1 year of employment. Mammographers: Certification in Basic Life Support required.

Maintains a second Mammography registry by annually accruing five ECE's specific to Mammography Education, as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards. Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire
