Position Summary:

The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of gifts of $10,000 or more from individuals in support of the mission of MultiCare Health System (MHS). This position works closely with others in a team-oriented approach to philanthropy and requires broad ranging extensive internal and external contacts to develop critical sustaining relationships.

The Major Gift Officer is responsible for developing cause/case expertise in a variety of areas to raise funds for MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation.

Minimum Requirements:

Five (5) years professional experience in personal solicitation in fund-raising or like vocation such as personal banking or sales

Experience with computerized databases for fund-raising, subscription, or membership purposes, Raisers Edge preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

BA/BS in business, communication or related discipline; Master's degree preferred

Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof or a safe driving record (which meets established MHS standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
