Responsibilities
The Maitre' D / Guest Relations role at Giusto is crucial to the overall guest experience
This role is typically the first point of contact with our brand, company and team
This person sets the tone for the guests and the rest of the team - how exciting and challenging at the same time
While not an expert in every category, this person can speak to all aspects of the business from the food we serve to the ethos of the business
Oversee Host Station
Update/implement host manual
Develop consistent language and presence to be upheld by F&B team
Take current host manual and training guides and update
Determine staffing pars by day of week and by season
When working a host shift, main point of contact for guests walking through the door
Set the guest up with a great experience
Develop strategies for collecting more details and notes on our guests
Oversee Resy Operations
Control reservations
Own Guest Communications
Maintain overall Resy tidiness
Review Resy analytics on a weekly basis to mine for useful data
Phone Communications
Ensure phones are being answered and guests are being helped with reservations
Create and maintain Voicemails - update as needed with hours of ops, reservation details, parking
Ensure group bookings are entered in Resy correctly and business has all details needed to execute reservation
Point of contact for any reservations under 20 guests and ensure all details are collected and chef is aware of any dietary requirements
