Maintenance/Warehouse Assistant

Holley Performance Products is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance / Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Simpson Racing Products in Mooresville, NC.

The Building Maintenance / Warehouse Assistant oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and various warehouse projects for Simpson Racing Products in Mooresville, NC.

Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):

• Support the organization's objectives of safety, service, quality, cost, continuous improvement, and growth.

• Evaluates systems or facility to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.

• Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.

• Oversees the alarm system. Meets with alarm system vendor when needed.

• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

• Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.

• Completes monthly safety walks and updates on safety improvement within the facility.

• Assist with special projects in the facility that need to be completed such as assembling workbenches, carts, installing pallet racking, special racks and all other projects assigned.

• Oversee and execute monthly and routine maintenance of both the Simpson race services truck and trailer and the Simpson race service van.

• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory transfers and utilized as a backup when needed.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):

• Results-oriented with sense of urgency to in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of best business practices.

• Strong manufacturing industry knowledge.

• High School Diploma Required

• At least three years of maintenance experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse property and facilities to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.

• Must be able physically able to perform repairs when needed.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
