JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing a variety of functions within the Deposit Services Department related primarily account maintenance and research. Primary functions include processing account coding and customer information changes in IBS and fulfilling various account research requests, such as statement history and account verifications.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1 - 3 Years experience in function

  • 1 - 3 Years experience in industry

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, IBS, Synergy and e-Desk.

  • Works effectively in a team.

  • Must have proficient verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

  • Respond to research requests from Banking Centers for historical information pertaining to customer information and accounts.

  • Processes account verifications for Housing Authorities, government services and local municipality audits.

  • Respond to research requests from Risk Management in regards to Court ordered subpoenas.

Operations

  • Process maintenance requests from Banking Centers for changes to customer information and account coding.

  • Perform routine clean up maintenance of customer information and accounts to ensure IBS core system is accurate.

Problem Resolution

  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner.

VIEW JOBS 11/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-06T00:00 Position Information FTE: 1.000000 Exempt: Yes Day Shift: 40 Hrs/Wk; 80 Hrs/Pay Weekend & Holiday Rotation: Per schedule Pay Grade: 16 Position Summary This position is directed toward improving patient care and nursing practice in the Invasive Imaging Department through role modeling direct patient care, coordinating the processes between the offices, staff, anesthesia and physicians to make sure the patient is adequately prepared for the procedure, acting as a change agent, leading orientation activities for new staff, educating staff, developing staff and implementing tools to be used for the education of patients and families, functioning positively as a leader. This role will take call in order to keep current with practices of the department. One weekend every 8 weeks will be required with the possibility of adding more at the discretion of the Invasive Imaging Manager Responsibilities ESSENTIAL: Responsibilities: (20%)* Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive basic orientation program for all Invasive Imaging staff. Including formal and informal conferences with orientees on a weekly basis to evaluate their progress and through monthly in-services, annual training, etc. (20%)* Assists with determining equipment needs and educating staff on how to operate new or existing equipment with the help of our Specialty Coordinators. (20%)* Ensures that patients scheduled in Invasive Imaging have appropriate pre-procedure work ups and education Also initiates patient follow up for incomplete testing. (20%)* Responsible for patient education, instructions, and facilitating overall communication. (20%)* Develops and implements protocols for patient care which are evidence based. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Helps evaluate performance of staff in conjunction with the Invasive Imaging Manager, Specialty Coordinators, and Sr. staff. Provides leadership, interprets policies and procedures, and functions as a staff nurse as needed. Participates in quality improvement initiatives within the department and the Medical Center Maintains appropriate program reports and scorecards. Tracks patient outcomes and assists with performance improvement activities Assists with ensuring organization and physicians reach and maintain all regulatory guidelines and requirements Required to have lab days as determined by the manager to maintain competency. Interprets policies and procedures and functions as a staff nurse as needed. Is responsible for maintaining lines of communication with peers, subordinates, and superiors within the Invasive Imaging, nursing services and other departments within the Medical Center Maintains high visibility in the Invasive Imaging Department Promotes professional growth and development through effective leadership Performs coaching and counseling of employees as needed. Coordinates and communicates with other departments and offices educational needs that impact the Invasive Imaging schedule Collaborates with physicians, all levels of nursing management, Invasive Imaging staff, and other departmental personnel in planning for coordinated services to the patient Participates on or leads Nursing Service committees as appointed by the Invasive Imaging Manager. Assures compliance with the regulatory agencies standards such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare Services (CMS), the Michigan Department of Public Health (MDPH), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN), The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Foundation (SCAI) Other duties as assigned.
