Maintenance/Grounds Supervisor (Buccaneer State Park)

Characteristics of Work

Second-level supervisory position accountable for directing and overseeing a variety of facility, grounds, and specialized trade workers and contractors in the maintenance, operation and repair of state facilities, equipment, and grounds. Jobs at this level may be more complex or have oversight of a small or mid-sized state facility or an area or department within a larger state facility. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.

Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires 2-4 years of experience with 2-4 in semi-skilled work
