Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time

Location: Washington DC (DMV)

Shift & Schedule: Monday -Friday 11am-7pm

What we're looking for:*

• Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter and debris are removed from all areas of all the contracted faciliies.

• Sweep and pick up around the trash recepacles, also clean tops.

• Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth, and the office.

• Responsible for safety and security of company equipment.

• Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean.

• Perform tasks such as replace light bulbs as needed or apply oil absorbent to oil spills.

• Check conditions on the ticket splitters, gates, ticket supply, time clock, and other equipment for proper functioning and general appearan

• Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc.

• Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed.

• Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager, as applicable.

• May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists.

• Other special projects as assigned by location management.

• Be able to work different shift hours when is needed

Must haves:

• You are at least 18 years old.

• High school degree or GED equivalent preferred.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other employees in a professional and friendly manner.

• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with the parking customer, providing resolution as needed to customer issues.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment: The employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
