Open to the first 100 applicants or until 05/03/2024 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.As a Maintenance Worker, you will perform the following duties:

  • Performs simple and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment, and related utilities.

  • Assists higher graded maintenance workers in the performance of their work.

  • Utilizes a variety of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, sledgehammers, paint brushes, rollers.

  • Performs minor carpentry repairs and minor painting.

  • Performs minor plumbing repairs to include tightening or replacing in-kind fittings and fixtures, replacing faucet washers, and unplugging drains.

  • Receives, unloads, and processes incoming shipments.

  • Performs routine maintenance on campground sites and trails.

  • Operates a light truck and a forklift to pick up supplies and to transport materials.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:

  • Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT)

  • Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.

  • Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)

  • Use of Measuring Instruments

  • Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)

  • Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment

  • Knowledge of Materials
