Major Responsibilities
1.Responsible to insure that all safety and quality start-up procedures are followed.
2.Review and follow standardized work instructions.
3.Responsible to manage the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
4.Responsible to communicate with team members (Supervisor, Leader, Quality, Co-workers) on any issues with the machines. Have an understanding of what the cause of the issue is and which team member to inform. (Maintenance, Quality)
5.Responsible for cleaning/washing jobs throughout plant. Total preventive maintenance on wash machines/heat treat.
6.Responsible for cleaning of parts washers and recovery system.

Knowledge and Education

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. Valid Driver's License.

Work Experience

  • Experience in an automotive stamping manufacturing environment with mechanical knowledge.

  • Results-oriented team player, excellent attendance, high energy level and good attention to detail.

  • Must have complete working knowledge of wash machines.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot chemicals and make adjustments.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to the following: bearings, motors, gas burners, elements, thermocouples, conveyor systems, filters media, float switches.

  • Must have complete working knowledge of hi-pressure power washer and steam cleaner.

  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision, in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure.

  • Must be able to work required hours.

Skills and Competencies

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and correspondence such as safety rules and operating instructions. Ability to document forms as required by position.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of AS400 and ability to use bar code labeling system.

Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Skills Required: * Must have strong Telecommunications LAN/WAN skills * Experience in managing application and hardware support in a manufacturing setting, including defining, updating and adherence to operating procedures. * Delivering technical support to site to achieve optimal throughput using monitoring, and other benchmarking metrics to achieve peak operational performance * Experience with robust change control processes * Experience and or Knowledge of Project Management processes * Strong Communication skills including experience working with Business management and global teams * Good understanding of variety of application architectures and networking Experience Preferred: * Experience in providing IT support in an onshore offshore model is preferred. * Must have strong network telecommunications skills, knowledge of Cisco IOS, LAN/WAN troubleshooting Education Required: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related field or related experience This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation and/or drug screen.
