The Maintenance Training Coordinator is responsible for providing training to Painesville personnel in the Maintenance Services Department comprised of the Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument and Utility Teams to ensure consistent skillsets are developed among all team members. The Maintenance Training Coordinator will be responsible for all training records, scheduling training sessions and ensuring new hires receive training materials to guarantee their success. The Maintenance Training Coordinators job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those described below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Training for the skilled trades as developed by each of the four Maintenance Services Teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Utility).
Promote a positive work culture that fosters safety and compliance to procedures, policies, and work instructions.
Provide training and mentoring to new hires in safety, company policy, procedures, work instructions and work with four maintenance services teams to develop the training modules.
Work in conjunction with others to ensure compliance with all regulations.
Be an example for the highest levels of safety.
Be on the lookout for issues concerning housekeeping, safety, work practices and take initiative to make needed changes.
Initiate opportunities for strategic and tactical improvements within the department.
Provide support to the Maintenance Sevices Manager as needed.
Maintain records of training provided by the department.
Support the overall HSE&S performance of the Painesville Plant.
Maintain honest and open communications, a good working environment and culture.
Ensure diversity within the department is promoted, respected, and valued.
Additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
Minimum of a high school diploma AND ten (10) years experience working in skilled trades OR Associates degree from an accredited university AND five (5) years of experience working in skilled trades.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a training role.

Prior Supervisory experience.
Any additional specialized training or certification(s).
Work is performed within a controlled environment; noise levels in some areas require hearing protection.
Must be willing/able to work in a plant environment. Must be able to climb stairs.
Must be able/willing to be exposed to inclement weather while moving throughout the plant during the work day as required.
Ability to wear building required PPE.
