Our growing company is actively seeking experienced Maintenance Technician to join our third shift team. In this highly specialized role, you will repair, modification, and inspect aircraft structures, systems, and equipment.to ensure airworthiness. As a member of our Maintenance team your ensure that all maintenance activities are controlled on aircraft, receiving maintenance, within the company's facilities and technical records are originated and retained with respect to all inspections and maintenance functions.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will also be responsible for:
Visually inspecting, assessing, and assisting in repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, systems, and equipment.
Removing, installing, and functionally test aircraft components.
Dismantling and assembling aircraft systems for repair and overhaul.
Removing aircraft control systems, check rigging, and re-assemble.
Diagnostically troubleshooting aircraft defects and carry out corrective action.
Complete records of work done to sustain an accurate record system.
Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints and written technical instructions.
Work in confined spaces and elevated heights when required.
Must perform work in accordance with all FAA guidelines.
To perform successfully as a Maintenance Technician, we are looking for the following:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of College/vocational/or technical training.
Airframe and Powerplant License strongly preferred.
0 to 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience required.
The work environment for a Maintenance Technician, may include but is not limited to the following:
Regular periods during which physical effort is required, e.g., walking standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
Exposure to factors such as temperature variations/extremes, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, and materials which can cause periods of discomfort.
Frequent need to give concentrated attention, with one or two senses at a time, where stimuli are changing.
Occasional direct and indirect pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands.
