This is a combination role. We are looking for someone who likes work on different projects and can move from one thing to another easily. They must have the demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and handle matrixed accountability. The role requires sound reasoning skills, determination and flexibility. Responsibilities: Primary Duties as Maintenance Technician:

• Perform maintenance duties as required

• Troubleshoot and repair machines

• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment

• Perform metal fabrication skills involving welding, cutting, and construction

• Utilize shop tools safely

• Follow lockout/tagout procedures

Primary Duties as Production Associate:

• Ensure all products are built in the correct and most cost-effective manner, ensuring alignment with quality necessities and specifications

• Metal fabrication work involving cutting, welding and construction

• Follow all safety guidelines set forth by the company

• Follow all company policies in accordance with the employee handbook

• Learn building materials and all jargon to ensure future growth and knowledge

• Ensure that all job tracking procedures are followed

Requirements:

• A minimum two years experience in a manufacturing environment, at least one year of maintenance experience

• A solid understanding of production and organizational methods

• Previous experience with hand tools, tape measures, and drills

• Ability to perform troubleshooting, PMs and minor electrical work

• Experience with building maintenance and minor plumbing

• Robotics, computer and familiarity with programming helpful

• Commitment to working safely, performing quality work and responding timely to internal customers

• Fine-tuned communication skills

• Ability to remember processes and materials used in the building process

• High School Diploma or GED, desired.

• Perfer post high school education specifically in an industrial trade-related field

• Ability to read, write and orally communicate in English

• Able to safely lift 50 pounds
