Responsibilities:

Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, woodworking machinery, production machines and equipment, physical structures, plumbing, hydraulic and electrical and automated systems.

Requirements:

• Must be mechanically inclined with a comprehensive working knowledge of industrial woodworking machines including CNC Routers, Molders, Edge Banders, Beam Saws and Wide Belt Sanders.

• Performs maintenance functions making repairs in electrical, mechanical, woodworking machinery, hydraulic breakdowns under minimal guidance of the maintenance supervisor.

• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance duties such as mechanical and electrical repairs.

• Participate and execute actions from the quality improvement program.

• Support installation of new equipment and facilities improvements.

• Work safely by observing safety rules, policies, and procedures and identify unsafe conditions or actions.

• Basic design and fabrication of repairs and process improvements.
