We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for maintenance of interior and exterior of mall property, including building structures, systems and equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Tile repair.

  • Painting interior/exterior as needed.

  • Maintain all doors in good working order.

  • Replace light fixtures, bulbs and ballasts.

  • Limited electrical work.

  • Sign repair and replacement.

  • Minor curb and parking lot repairs.

  • Inspect and clean roof areas..

  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.

  • Perform minor masonry, asphalt, concrete and fencing repairs.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment and building.

  • Ability to inspect and perform basic preventative maintenance on HVAC and Central Plant equipment.

  • Ability to inspect and perform basic preventative maintenance on fire alarm and sprinkler equipment.

  • Set-up and take down mall promotions including staging, curtains, chairs and sound systems.

  • Communicate information and instructions with management, tenants and vendors.

  • Be able to physically reach all areas of the property, including shopping center, office buildings, and outparcels.

  • Operate maintenance equipment, such as scissor and boom lifts.

  • Monitor and read required meters and gauges (i.e. water meters, fire alarm panels, etc.).

  • Pick up litter and debris as necessary.

  • Wear and maintain uniform in neat, clean manner.

  • Perform other tasks from time to time as required.

What To Bring/Essential Functions:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Basic mechanical, plumbing and electrical knowledge and experience.

  • Read, write and communicate English at acceptable level.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Available and willing to work a flexible schedule.

  • Essential Functions: Standing up to 8 hours a day

  • Walking up to 8 hours a day

  • Sitting Stooping Lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds for at least 15 minutes at a time

  • Using a telephone

  • Communicating verbally in person and on the telephone

  • Bending up to 4 hours a day

  • Working outdoors up to 8 hours a day

  • With an ability to; Climb ladders and stairs repeatedly throughout an 8 hour period, use a computer, walk and carry tool backpack, which weighs up to 15 pounds, for 8 hours at a time

  • Ability to work on roofs and in tight cramped spaces

We are looking for a highly driven individual that will maintain and repair all Galvanizing equipment within the Global Coatings Division. Additionally, you will… * Perform highly skilled and technical work in the areas of installation, programming, maintenance, and repairs to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software and equipment. * Perform industrial electrical work to repair or maintain company equipment * Move hazardous waste drums from still room to the hazardous waste storage area * Install and configure new equipment as well as dismantle and replace defective or old parts and machines * Plan and manage the repair and maintenance of all equipment and buildings * Adjust necessary equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation What it takes Required Qualifications * Three to five years of previous experience in an Industrial Maintenance position * In depth knowledge of industrial control software and PLC software/controllers * A working knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems * The ability to demonstrate mechanical/basic electrical knowledge through testing * Significant electrical knowledge of 480/220 3-phase and 110 volt * Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications * The ability to climb and work from ladders, man lifts, bridge cranes, and roofs in excess of 80 ft. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs * The ability to pay close attention to detail and follow work instructions * Two years of previous experience operating hand and/or power tools * The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner * Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results Highly qualified candidates will also possess: * An Associate's or Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field * Six years of previous experience in an Industrial Maintenance position * Must have a high awareness for safety at all times * Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming * A working knowledge of metallurgy for fabrication and repair of metal structures/components All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regarding to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
