We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Valencia, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in good working order.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on production and facility related equipment.

• Enter in completed preventative maintenance or work orders into Microman.

• Lube, oil, clean and maintain production equipment in good operating condition.

• Adjust production equipment to insure good operating condition, including adjusting v-belts, and hydraulic systems replacing hoses, tightening loose connections and hardware, etc.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to climb ladders, ride in scissor lift, man lift at heights up to 35' off of the floor and go on the roof and use a ladder and trap door.

• Support established cleaning schedule and respond to requests for emergency spills, leaks, or other sanitation issues such as the clean-up of blood or other body fluids per the Exposure Control Plan.

• Must be able to understand maintenance work orders, read blue prints/drawings, and identify all types of metals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 5 years' + experience as a maintenance mechanic working with PLC, hydraulic and manufacturing machinery.

• Electrical certification required • Forklift Certification/Experience Required.

• Looking to a self-starter who is familiar with manufacturing equipment

• Required to Speak, Read, Write, and Understand English.

• Requires computer Skills including Microsoft Outlook and Access Databases such as Computerized Maintenance Management Software and Machines.

• Maintenance Janitorial Grades A2 - A 5 including Floor Care, Disposal, Landscaping, Spill Containment & Cleanup, Dusting, Window Care, Janitorial Supplies, and/or Project Support Required.

• Facilities Grades B2 - B5 including Ceiling Tiles, Hand & Power Tools, Painting, Lighting, Plumbing, Basic Electricity, Ability to complete documentation of Work Instructions, and/or Powered Industrial Trucks required.

• Experience with Lockout/Tagout Procedures Preferred.
