Compensation: $30-$32/hr

Our client in Sterling, VA, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment. Your responsibilities will include preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring equipment setup aligns with production schedules, and maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of production equipment.

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.

• Coordinate equipment setup with the production shift supervisor.

• Maintain spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed.

• Create purchase orders for necessary supplies.

• Document vendor details, part numbers, contacts, and pricing.

• Maintain documentation of best practices and repeatable maintenance procedures.

• Assist in the reorganization or relocation of machines, shelving units, desks, etc.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with ISO standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PLC, AC/DC, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.

• 2-4 years of vocational and/or maintenance technician experience.

• Experience in the ID card industry is a plus.

• Familiarity with Entrust MX6100, MX8100, MxD-Mxi, or similar systems is a plus.

• High hardware and software troubleshooting skills.

• Experience operating hand carts, pallet jacks, and stackers.

• Basic knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Resilience, flexibility, and agility.

Work Schedule:

• First shift position: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
